Some of what we build comes in as a brief. Some of it is just an idea we couldn't leave alone, so we built it anyway. Right now most of our hours go into Gomo-Fu and Bird Walk Bakery. The rest goes into whatever else is on the bench.
Five-in-a-row with a deck of cards that keeps trying to cheat.
We run more campaigns than we finish, and steal ideas from all of them.
A cottage bakery running alongside everything else. Small batches, real starter.
Gomo-Fu is Gomoku, the five-in-a-row game, with a card layer laid over it. Cards drag stones out of line, seal intersections shut and burn clusters off the board.
Only placing a stone can complete a five.
A card can break your opponent's block, but it will not walk through the gap for you. That single line does all the balancing work, and we are still slightly amazed it holds.
A browser DAW. Arrangement timeline, a piano roll with scales, chord stamps and an arpeggiator, a drum step sequencer, and over 100 instruments, from a synth designer and recorded drum kits to orchestra, choir and chiptune. Play in from a MIDI keyboard or record a mic. Every track gets an insert chain with sidechain pump; the master has a loudness meter, OTT and stereo width. Over 600 built-in plugins, including 500 Airwindows effects and instruments from Mutable Instruments, MDA and Open303, and you can load WAM plugins from a web address.
No install. No account. Open it and write.
Export the mix or stems as WAV, MP3 or OGG, up to 48 kHz and 32-bit float, with optional -14 LUFS normalising. Intro + loop and seamless-loop exports for game music. Score to picture against a synced video with timecode from 23.976 to 60 fps, then export an MP4. Share a song as a link. Still in progress.
Two Birds Workshop is a small studio that makes things, for clients and for ourselves.
Some ideas come in as a brief. Others just won't leave us alone until we build them. Gomo-Fu and Bird Walk Bakery are the two properly in motion right now, with a handful of smaller things running alongside both.
What's currently in motion, ours and otherwise.

Everything here started as something we couldn't stop thinking about. We keep one slot open on purpose, so there's always room for the next one.
If you've got an idea that won't leave you alone either, tell us about it.
Build notes, dead ends, and screenshots of things that broke in an interesting way.

We keep meaning to build this out, then a pigeon walks across the keyboard and we end up fixing a card instead. Stickers, prints and a few shirts are all half-made somewhere on a shelf.
Tell us roughly what you want. Rough is fine. Rough is preferred, honestly.
Something broken? If Gomo-Fu or Fledgetone misbehaves, pick SOMETHING'S BROKEN below and tell us what you were doing, what you expected and what happened instead. The browser you're on helps too.
